Welcome to my Veterans’ Portrait Project — a heartfelt tribute to the remarkable people who have served our country and maintain a special connection to Grantham. This ongoing initiative seeks to honour ex-service personnel by capturing their portraits and sharing their unique stories of duty, resilience, and life beyond the forces. Once complete, the collection will be proudly displayed at the Guildhall in Grantham, offering the community an opportunity to reflect, appreciate, and learn from those who served. The project will also be published in print, with each veteran featured through an individual portrait and a one-page personal synopsis, creating a lasting keepsake, ensuring these voices and experiences are preserved for generations to come.

If you are, or if you know of, an ex-service member with a connection to Grantham who may be interested in taking part in this commemorative project, I would be delighted to hear from you. I am seeking veterans who are willing to share their experiences and be photographed as part of this meaningful tribute. If you, a family member, friend, or colleague would like to be involved, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Your story, or theirs, deserves to be told and preserved.
